Horses for Sale

We have a lot of pride in the horses we offer for sale. The work we do here helps our horses understand their jobs, becoming willing partners for avid equestrians. Our goal is to find a perfect match for every horse, so that they may have a forever home with a knowledgable and responsible person.

We do our best to honestly promote each horse in our efforts to place them with someone who can appreciate their unique abilities.

It takes several weeks for horses to get acclimated to their new conditions, and during this time, it is important for the new owners to learn how best to handle any situations that may arise, and consider getting qualified help when necessary.

We offer support for buyers as they get to know their new horses, because we truly care about our horses' long term success.  I make every effort to offer a 30 day, 90% guarantee on every horse, but horses on consignment may have different arrangements.

OF Merrionette 2009 14.3h registered Arabian mare $9,500

Lovely, athletic, responsive mare, with several years of professional training.  Naturally well balanced and handy, she shows an aptitude for Dressage, Working Equitation and other disciplines that value a classical, uphill carriage.  A competent rider will appreciate her balance, lightness, collection, and natural carriage.  The better you ride, the more fun this horse is, but she is not difficult for an amateur to learn with. It is my strong belief that she would be a very competitive dressage horse, she shows an aptitude that would allow her to do upper level work in time, and she did well at a schooling show with an amateur rider. She seems to enjoy discipline and exercise, and responds well to training. Because of this, we would like her to continue to be in regular work in order to reach her full potential.   She is a friendly, willing horse, and enjoys her turnout and social time with other horses.  She has plenty of trail experience and is polite and easy to handle in every way. Video link here

2014 grey AQHA gelding FRC American Star “Garth” $8000 obo

"Garth" is a talented young horse with a lot of potential for Cowboy Dressage, Ranch Versatility, trail riding, etc. This guy was bred and started by the Feather River College, he has a nice foundation and has been working consistently for 2 years. He has had miles of trail exposure on our private ranch, including bridges, water crossing, wildlife, cattle, trailer loading, and group rides. He has great manners, and is easy to handle in every way. This is a very soft, kind, sensitive, willing horse. Garth is very handy and athletic, and is easy and fun to work with. He is currently in training and will need to continue with consistent work to maintain his current condition. Because he is so catty and quick, he is best suited for a confident, well-balanced rider with experience with young horses. Garth is an easy keeper, good with other horses, UTD on vet care, no health issues. Good home a priority. Offers and trades considered for an older, broke, sound gelding or a pull behind aluminum stock trailer. We can haul this horse somewhere more convenient if our location is an issue in your search. We do have amazing trails, though!

ZACKS NU SUGAR SOLD!! Congratulations, Charlene!

Breeding, Training, Experience: Zack is the horse everyone is looking for. He has some nice training on him, soft in the bridle, good neck rein, moves off your leg, smooth transitions, ready for you to hop on and ride any way you like. He'd shine in a Cowboy Dressage or Ranch Versatility arena. Zack has a friendly, outgoing, in-your-pocket personality, he loves to be petted and fussed over. He has been great in an EAGALA therapy program. He has good ground manners, easy to handle in every way. He is an easy keeper, a low-maintenance horse. He came from the Red Bluff gelding sale a couple of years ago, and he had ranch and cow experience. Zack can be soft, quiet, and slow, but he is a real powerhouse, and likes to get up and go, too. Please email for more pictures.

“George” 16 hand 13 year old Buckskin Tobiano Paint gelding

SOLD! Congratulations, Xenophon!

George is as gentle as they come, he is soft, kind, handsome, and perfect in every way. He has been a ranch and trail horse all of his life, until recently, when he started exhibiting signs of Head Shakers Syndrome. He is not going to work as a ranch and trail horse for us anymore, so he has been retired. If there were a PERFECT home for him, we'd love to see him go somewhere he could get more attention and care. Otherwise, he'll just sit in our pasture with the other retired horses.
