Horses for Sale

We have a lot of pride in the horses we offer for sale. The work we do here helps our horses understand their jobs, becoming willing partners for avid equestrians. Our goal is to find a perfect match for every horse, so that they may have a forever home with a knowledgable and responsible person.

We do our best to honestly promote each horse in our efforts to place them with someone who can appreciate their unique abilities.

It takes several weeks for horses to get acclimated to their new conditions, and during this time, it is important for the new owners to learn how best to handle any situations that may arise.

We offer support for buyers as they get to know their new horses, because we truly care about our horses' long term success.  I make every effort to offer a 30 day, 90% guarantee on every horse, but horses on consignment may have different arrangements.

OF Zestina  SOLD!   Congratulations, Gail!

Pumpkin is such a sweetheart, and we would love to find her a forever home with someone who will be her best friend. She has a great, big, forward walk and is brave and enthusiastic on trails She is nice in the snaffle or bosal and responsive to all aids. Her feet are nice and hard, she is barefoot, and she is a very easy keeper. She is a long and big-barrelled horse that really takes up your leg, so she rides like a bigger horse than she is. Pumpkin is a pretty mover, and demonstrates the capability for dressage or cowboy dressage, or other sport-horse disciplines. Pumpkin is up to date on all vet care. Good home a priority, make offer. Trial considered.

Born and raised on a working cattle ranch in the mountains of southern New Mexico, Hondo has had a lot of exposure to the natural world, wildlife, terrain, cattle, ropes, trailers, weather...he is very easy to ride anywhere and gets along well with other horses. His daddy is St Brite, a descendent of Appy great Brite Eyes Brother, dam is a QH mare. He is an easy keeper, sound and healthy, no vices, he ties, loads, hauls, stands for grooming and treatment. He is a stout horse with good bone and could carry a good-sized rider, but at 14.2 he is manageable for a smaller rider, as well. He is light in a snaffle or bosal. and responds well to all aids. Hondo is currently here in CA learning about working in an arena and living in a boarding facility. He is adjusting well to his new, pampered life, and is looking forward to finding a good new home. OF Merlin 2009 14h registered AHA gelding $6000

Flashy, friendly, fun little horse for an avid rider.  Loves the trails, and could easily compete successfully with an amateur in sport horse disciplines.  Sensitive, obedient, responsive to all aids.  Goes nicely in a snaffle.  Solid black.  Great disposition, good feet, up to date on all health care.  To GOOD home only.

"Cooper" 2007 14.3h chestnut grade QH type gelding  $3500

This guy is a nice solid trail horse for a confident rider.  He has great feet, good bone, is an easy keeper, and very affectionate.  He gets on well with other horses.   He has nice manners and is easy to handle.  More pictures and video coming soon.

OF Merrionette 2009 14.3h registered Arabian mare $5000

Lovely, athletic, responsive mare.  Naturally well balanced and handy, she shows an aptitude for Working Equitation and other disciplines that value a classical, uphill carriage.  This is a very easy horse for a competent rider, since she is so light to all aids, but she can be intolerant of sloppy riding.  She is a friendly, willing horse, and enjoys her turnout and social time with other horses.  We would like her to continue to get regular work with a balanced, correct rider.  This is my favorite horse to ride, she will be appreciated by any rider because of her balance, lightness, collection, and natural carriage.

Chico Suerte 2013 grade grey gelding

This guy is such a sweetie, he loves attention and tries hard to please.  He is very gentle and will be a nice amateur horse with some more time under saddle, he has 30 days and has been very willing and easy to train.  He has good walk and trot work under saddle and we have been taking things slow with him, as he was rescued from a feed lot and has needed some extra time to develop.  To GOOD, forever home.
