Horses for Sale
We have a lot of pride in the horses we offer for sale. The work we do here helps our horses understand their jobs, becoming willing partners for avid equestrians. Our goal is to find a perfect match for every horse, so that they may have a forever home with a knowledgable and responsible person.
We do our best to honestly promote each horse in our efforts to place them with someone who can appreciate their unique abilities.
It takes several weeks for horses to get acclimated to their new conditions, and during this time, it is important for the new owners to learn how best to handle any situations that may arise, and consider getting qualified help when necessary.
We offer support for buyers as they get to know their new horses, because we truly care about our horses' long term success. I make every effort to offer a 30 day, 90% guarantee on every horse, but horses on consignment may have different arrangements.

OF Merrionette 2009 14.3h registered Arabian mare $9,500
Lovely, athletic, responsive mare, currently in training with Patience Prine-Carr in Castroville, CA, and will be showing in the spring. Naturally well balanced and handy, she shows an aptitude for Dressage, Working Equitation and other disciplines that value a classical, uphill carriage. This is a very nice horse for a competent rider; she is so light to all aids, it feels like she is reading your mind. This has been my favorite horse to ride, she will be appreciated by any rider because of her balance, lightness, collection, and natural carriage. It is my strong belief that she would be a very competitive dressage horse, she shows an aptitude that would allow her to do upper level work in time. She seems to enjoy discipline and exercise, and responds well to training. Because of this, we would like her to continue to be in regular work in order to reach her full potential. She is a friendly, willing horse, and enjoys her turnout and social time with other horses. She has plenty of trail experience and is polite and easy to handle in every way. Video link here
2011 15h bay AHA gelding OF Jazz Aria
SOLD Congratulations, Andrea!
Friendly, charming guy with a great pedigree! Crickett is an attractive horse with huge, comfortable, pretty gaits. He is a forward, competitive horse that likes to get out and go! He has a good understanding of correct aids, with a year of professional training under saddle. He could be a great endurance horse with consistent, quality training. He gets along with other horses and is easy to maintain on pasture. He has great feet and clean legs, and is up to date on all care. He will continue to be in professional training until he finds the right person to take over. This is an athletic and physically capable young horse, but he is a LOT of horse, and needs a confident, skillful rider with the time to ride regularly. He is insecure and can have separation anxiety. He has trouble being calm and standing still. He is obedient and has a lot of time on him, but this is a difficult horse that needs professional calibre handling and training. Motivated seller, make offer. Currently in Calistoga at All The King's Horses with Erin King.

"Misty" 2005 14.1h Palomino overo Twin Peaks BLM mare SOLD!
This is the most wonderful horse for any level rider. She has taught 4 year old children and 70 year old women how to ride. She has the smoothest trot you'll ever sit, and she has a lot of excellent training. Her default is pretty lazy, but with a rider who asks properly, she is very capable of executing quality maneuvers. Misty has done extensive trail rides, and nothing phases her. She is easy to load in the trailer and handle in every way.She is happiest in a pasture, and get along well with other horses. She is a very easy keeper, and would need to be monitored on rich grass. She does best with shoes, she is not a good candidate for being barefoot. UTD on all care, no health or soundness issues. We have a custom Tucker trail saddle available for her. You won't find a better horse for building confidence. We are sad to be parting with Misty, we are in no rush, and she will be sold only to the best home, one that will offer turnout, quality shoeing and vet care, bodywork when needed, and will keep us posted. We will expect first right of refusal in the event that she needs to be re-homed. If you believe that you can offer Misty the home she deserves, we are open to reasonable offers. In Philo. "Molly" 2005 15.3h unregistered Thoroughbred mare SOLD! Congratulations, Nicole!
This is the nicest horse I have ever owned. She is so kind and willing, everyone who meets her adores her. She is passive and sweet with humans and other horses, and gets along with everyone. Molly has a lot of athletic ability and shows talent for eventing. She is enthusiastic but green over fences, and I will be continuing her training until I find her the RIGHT home. I have taken her on trail rides, which she enjoys, and she is consistent and obedient under saddle. She travels in a balanced frame, has nice gaits with good suspension, and plenty of step. She is well mannered in every way, good for farrier, vet, grooming, etc. Never raced, purebred, unregistered TB. I do not want to sell her, but personal financial circumstances dictate that I must. She will come with all of her tack and equipment. Open to offers to the RIGHT home. Currently in Philo, but we can haul out to meet you.

"Bria" 2008 15h twin Peaks BLM mare SOLD!
Really fancy titled mustang mare with lots of good classical and natural training. This horse has a lot of potential with the right rider. She is well balanced and has fancy movement. She is well schooled in lateral movements and carries herself in a nice frame. She has had good trail exposure, completed and LD ride with good scores last summer, and could easily do more endurance rides this year. She is a confident horse and will do best with an equally confident rider. She has had a lot of 'natural' training and will respond well to a person with good horsemanship skills. She is dominant in a herd but will get along well with horses she knows. She is social and playful and wants to engage with everyone. Typical great feet, easy keeper, does well on pasture. UTD on all care. To GOOD home, open to offers from the RIGHT home. Email for more pics and info. We are in no hurry, but need to find a good forever home for this horse, with right of first refusal.
